Steffensberg

Slope direction: south

This vineyard is extremely steep slate slope and therefore offers very interesting microclimatic conditions and is the ideal site for low alcohol wines with more residual sugar.

With an ideal orientation towards the sun, the vines bathe in the sunlight basically from dusk till dawn. The first documentary indication of this particular vineyard was in 1347.

The location consists of several parcels, one of which was planted in 2012 and another in 2013. The other vines are from the 60s-80s.
