Insecticide-free since 1985

Immich-Anker wine estate works without any use of insecticides.

To combat the biggest pest in the wine, the so-called vine moth, the wine estate uses a sexual confusion method. Small vials filled with the sex pheromone of the female moth are hung up in all the vineyards. Due to the resulting cloud of perfume the males cannot find the females. There is no mating, no oviposition and thus no damage to the vines.

The method is 100% organic.
